201 Design Studio

201 Design Studio, founded by Mira Ene and Codrin Stanciulescu, activates in the field of product design since 2012. Working on small and large scale products, developing them in regard to function, form and production is our main aim. At the core of the studio’s creative process is the understanding of the interaction between user and object.

Designing new products that distinguish themselves through functionality, interactivity and detailing is the studio's main expression.

A novel and responsible use of materials together with the optimization of the whole manufacturing process of an object are also concerns of our studio.

During our studies we designed our first product, the Axteroid lamp (2009), which won second place at a competition held by ELLE Decoration Romania and the Silver A’Design Award for Lighting Products. ... More ... less
