A.L.S. Architectural Lighting Systems is a German brand specializing in
indoor and outdoor lighting systems, as well as LED module components and control systems. The production of lighting fixtures is part of the company's DNA, which boasts a family tradition started by engineer Joseph Reiss in the 1930s. Since then, the workshop, based in Tettnang, Baden-Württemberg, has never stopped growing, thanks to the company's innovation-driven vision. In 1993, Dieter Layer-Reiss, of the third generation, founded A.L.S. Architectural Lighting Systems, with a strong engineering and avant-garde vocation. The pillars on which the company's philosophy is based are ease of use, high illuminating efficiency and low energy consumption, which, together with quality materials and attention to design, characterize A.L.S.'s signature systems. Rapid development and expansion into foreign markets lead to the establishment of the Comparlux GmbH international group in 2004, now Light Direct GmbH. The success of A.L.S. is evidenced by the numerous relocations of headquarters and factory to meet the need for space, up to today's warehouse that boasts an impressive 5400 square meters. A.L.S. interior lamps, essential and contemporary design
Browsing through the A.L.S. catalog, we find a wide and varied selection of
interior lamps with an essential and contemporary design, starting with the
AMOS LED spotlights, housed in a simple die-cast aluminum cylinder painted white. The same formal language can be found in the
APLN hanging lamp, equipped with an integrated power supply, a cord suspension cable and a body declined in white or black. More decorative is the
IHN suspension lamp, thanks to the horizontal striped patterns that characterize the anodized aluminum body and opal glass diffuser, and the stylish detail of the transparent suspension cord. More refined lines and elegant finishes for the
MAYA LED wall lamp, also declined in track and pendant spotlight versions. The diffuser, with a slightly curved and adjustable shape, can deliver one or two beams of light, and is available in white, black chrome or gold finishes. The
UMD collection consists of a suspension lamp and a ceiling lamp. The body consists of an aluminum disc with a band about 6 cm high, which houses the dimmable LED lamps, shielded by an opaline PMMA diffuser. SUDR3 suspension lamp, composed of three circles of different sizes, placed at different heights and inclinations. The cables supporting the bodies form a striking aerial geometry. The dimmable LED lamps are inserted inside the circles, are shielded by an opal PMMA cover, and can diffuse the illumination either downward or upward. The A.L.S. catalog offers
outdoor lighting solutions for every need. Elegant and minimalist, the
ARIA outdoor wall sconce is distinguished by its extraordinarily thin thickness of only 45 mm. The diffuser, made of opaline PMMA, is contained in a circle of die-cast aluminum, available in classic white, anthracite and gray colors, as well as the trendy "Ibiza sand" color. It is echoed by the
ELOISE outdoor wall sconce, characterized by the same formal language and finishes, with the difference due to the illuminating body that protrudes up to 6 cm, equipped with an aluminum cover that directs the light around, forming a luminous crown. The
METOO outdoor wall lamp does not go unnoticed, despite its simple and compact shape. The C-shape of the die-cast aluminum bollard has the function of directing light beams up and down, while the light fixture is attached directly to the wall. The lamp is very versatile, as it can be mounted on the ceiling and wall, either vertically or horizontally.
