From woodworking to the production of designer furniture: the story of Alf DaFrè
Heir to a centuries-old tradition in woodworking, Alf DaFrè is now a point of reference in the production of highly customizable modular systems and innovative design furniture complements for living and sleeping areas. The origins of Alf Group date back to the early 1950s when a group of highly experienced and skilled wood craftsmen decided to get together to found a cooperative in Francenigo (Treviso). Already after just a few years, this first nucleus became a major industrial reality in the industry, so much so that it prompted the Piovesana brothers to take over the company and invest new resources. As early as the early 1960s, Alf expanded, thanks to its ability to distinguish itself in the design and manufacture of
furniture for the sleeping area. In the following decades, the ever-faster evolution of the market and the desire to meet the demands of its stakeholders meant that Alf Group increased its production, without ever sacrificing the quality of the best Made in Italy.
