Ambright is a German brand specializing in the design and production of
lighting solutions for architecture and industry. The company was founded in 2009 in Munich as the brainchild of Florian Ilchmann, an electrical engineering graduate with a doctorate in the field of medical electronics. In fact, Ambright was founded for the purpose of presenting the technology giant Siemens with a prototype for lighting a computer tomograph, which the founder had created with the support of the university's research department. The prototype was successful and Siemens put it into production, so that Ambright, from a temporary brand front, became a full-fledged company, with a team of employees and technicians to develop the technology. Its pioneering approach soon made the company a benchmark in the health care, transportation, industrial and commercial sectors. In 2015 Ambright patented the revolutionary
LED's create technology, which allows, as Ilchmann tells it, to "print light," opening the door to additional fields, such as architecture and design. Spark Shape by Ambright, the molded light revolution
The flagship of Ambright's catalog, the
Spark Shape system of customizable pendant lamps stands out for its revolutionary concept. Through a technology developed by the company's R&D department, electronic components, LEDs, conductors, optics and suspension fittings are integrated into a composite material specifically designed for the purpose. Once the components are interconnected, the material is molded and the part can be cut into any shape required so that customers can choose where to place the light sources, quantity, power supply location, and finishes. Specifically, for designers Ambright has developed
LightSketch software, which customers can use to draw their own designs, and know in advance the cost and feasibility. The luminaire's extraordinarily thin thickness features a luminous edge, which is also integrated into the composite material and is the hallmark of Ambright products. For particularly complex shapes, the laboratory makes several modules that can be assembled horizontally, vertically, and diagonally, while the light sources are dimmable with CASAMBI's anti-flicker system, and the high-performance optics are equipped with an anti-glare device. Spark Shape is available in painted in 18 colors with a matte finish or in anodized aluminum, with a choice of desert copper, moonshine silver, champagne, gentle dark, diamond silver.

Masterseries collection of interior lamps, whose design was entrusted to
Simon Busse. The Ambright catalog is enriched by offering mass-produced designer lamps that take advantage of Spark Shape's extraordinary versatility. The Masterseries N°1 Paris pendant lamp is inspired by the iconic shape of the Eiffel Tower. The combination of an oval shape, arranged vertically and suspended from two thin metal cables, and the round shape of the diffuser, gives rise to a delicate sculptural form, emphasized by the thin luminous edge that characterizes all Ambright creations. Thanks to the special anodized aluminum finish, the surface of the diffuser lends itself to a soft diffusion of light emitted by the spots and the light strip. The lamp is declined in champagne and gentle dark finishes, and is available in Masterseries N°1 Paris S, with a diameter of 25 cm, Masterseries N°1 Paris M, with a diameter of 40 cm, and the generous Masterseries N°1 Paris L, which sports a diameter of 60 cm, to create refined atmospheres in large rooms.
