ARTEFAKT was founded in 1989 by Achim Pohl and Tomas Fiegl. In cooperation with the international industry, the 15-man strong team develops products within the entire development process. ARTEFAKT has acquired expert knowledge and know-how around the product segments architecture and cycling. The use of latest design and construction software and also the in-house model workshop ensure a professional development process from portfolio strategy to market-ready products. Through the years, ARTEFAKT products have been honoured with over 230 international design awards like e.g. the RED DOT, IF, GOOD DESIGN, DESIGNPLUS, EUROBIKE AWARD. In particular several RED DOT BEST OF THE BEST, IF GOLD and EUROBIKE GOLD AWARD are showing ARTEFAKT deep understanding of contemporary design.
