James Bassant

After working for several lighting brands, in 1997 James Bassant co-founded leading lighting company Astro. Supplying stand out designs for high-end hospitality projects, today, Astro has established teams in Italy, China, Singapore, and the USA, with an 86,000 ft2 headquarters here in the UK. Twenty years on, James remains at the heart of the company as Design Director, leading a team of in-house designers in the creation of innovative and captivating lighting that celebrates craftsmanship and British design.
