Tumble dryers

If you don’t have space where you can put your clothes to dry and you’re tired of hanging garments all over the apartment to dry or you simply need your clothes to dry up quickly, then you need a dryer. This appliance is used to dry your clothes up immediately after the washing. The drying up happens by eliminating humidity and this is done either by ventilation or condensation. Ventilated dryers discharge humid air direcly out of the machine through a 8-10cm hole. This model isn’t recommended for small service laundry rooms because it can saturate with humidity. In the condensation (more common) model warm air is cooled down condensing in water droplets that are eliminated by a pump.
The market offers countless models. Let’s have a look at which model suits you. First of all, you need to know where you are going to put it. On the floor or on the washing machine? If you put It on the washing machine you need a coupling device.
Keep an eye on power consumption! Check the energy efficiency label and choose a class A model. This way you’ll ensure power savings at a higher initial cost. If you can, buy an electronic model. These models come with sensors that calculate the weight and the humidity grade of the clothes and set the best drying program. Don’t forget to use it during night hours to save money on the bill!
